2016
Humble beginnings
Wild Oak Boutique began with a simple goal: offer women stylish, feel-good fashion with heart. Founded by Karly Smallfield in her parents’ basement, it started as a side hustle at local vendor fairs.

2020
The heartbeat of the brand
Karly went full-time and, alongside her husband Tarin, moved operations into the basement of their first home. As the community grew, they hired their first employees to keep up with the hustle.

2021–2023
Rapid growth
We moved into our first 6,000-square-foot warehouse in 2021. By 2023, we added a second warehouse and broke ground on a 24,000-square-foot facility to bring everything under one roof.

2024
Record-breaking expansion
We moved into our new headquarters in July. By late 2024, a 10,000-square-foot expansion brought our total warehouse space to 34,000 square feet so we could serve you even better.

Leading the way
After being named the number-one fastest-growing company in South Dakota in 2024, we were honored to make the Inc. 5000 list again in 2025.
